The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time comes to Truro

June 03rd, 2015

The award winning National Theatre production of the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is heading to the Hall for Cornwall theatre in Truro this July, but only for a limited run.

Based on the award winning book by Mark Haddon, it tells the story of 15-year-old Christopher, who has a rather incredible brain. He is a mathematics wizard, but struggles to interpret life on a day to day basis. After he is accused of killing his neighbour’s dog, Christopher undergoes a journey that turns his world on its head!

The Curious Incident was the winner of a huge seven Olivier Awards in 2013, so the current production is on its first ever nationwide tour, which started in December 2014. From the 7th until the 11th of July, the award winning play will be shown at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro, just a short drive from our 5 star Cornwall cottages.

This production has been adapted for stage by playwright Simon Stephens, and directed by Marianne Elliott, who has previously directed War Horse at the National Theatre. Tickets are selling fast, so if you are looking to watch this production, visit the ticket booking page on Hall for Cornwall here.
