Manic Street Preachers to play in Cornwall for the first time in more than a decade

March 16th, 2016

The Manic Street Preachers will be playing in Cornwall for the first time in a decade after they were added to this year’s Eden Sessions, just a short distance from our range of luxury Cornwall cottages

They will be belting out material from their 12 album back catalogue which includes tracks like Your Love Alone Is Not Enough and If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next among other crowd favourites. The legendary band have four BRIT Awards, 11 NME Awards and seven Q Awards. Last year, they were given the prestigious Ivors Inspiration Award at the Ivor Novello Awards.

Rita Broe, Eden’s marketing director, had this to say about the latest band to be added to the Eden Sessions:

“We have a fine tradition of rock bands playing the Eden Sessions and Manic Street Preachers are without doubt one of the finest British acts of the past 25 years. They have left an indelible mark on the British music scene and their longevity is testament to their enduring quality.”

Manic Street Preachers are the fifth act to be announced for the 2016 Eden Sessions, along with Welsh crooner Tom Jones and Mo-town legend Lionel Richie.
