Pam Ayres to bring her latest show to Cornwall

Renowned English poet, songwriter, radio and television presenter Pam Ayres is scheduled to perform in Truro this spring, as part of a series of UK dates.

The popular personality, who was awarded an MBE for her services to literature and entertainment in 2004, will be at the Hall for Cornwall on 21 April recalling some of her life stories, whilst reciting new and old poems.

Her big break came in 1975, after she won television talent show 'Opportunity Knocks', which led to a series of appearances on TV and radio shows, a one woman touring stage show and performing before the queen.

The eagerly anticipated show comes off the back of her most recent autobiography 'The Necessary Aptitude', which was released recently.

Should you be enjoying a stay in one of the beautiful luxury cottages in Cornwall this spring, why not come and listen to the elegant, delightfully funny Pam Ayres in one of Cornwall’s premier venues?
