CORNWALL TO BE DAZZLED BY WELSH NATIONAL OPERA THIS SPRING
27 February 2012
Britain’s most southern county is widely recognised as a place of beauty and resonance, facets that will be brought to life by the Orchestra of the Welsh National Opera in Cornwall this spring.
The Hall for Cornwall is gearing up to host a spectacular performance from the classical group, who were first formed nearly 70 years ago in Cardiff, on Tuesday 17 April.
Focusing on a programme of masterpieces from Tsarist Russia, the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera will be joined by brilliant Anglo/Russian violinist Alexander Sitovetsky, whose skill as a classical musician is beyond comprehension.
Representing just one of the many world class classical events throughout this beautiful county over the coming months, it could be the perfect show to enjoy whilst on a relaxing sojourn to Britain’s most stunning county. Be sure to take advantage of some beautiful cottages in Cornwall that can act as the idyllic base for your British holiday.
