Search and Rescue exhibition coming to Falmouth

Following the success of last years event, the Falmouth Spring festival is set to return for another year of celebrations. With so many attractions and events being offered around the period, it will be hard to find something that doesn’t get you into the festival spirit.

Just one of the events is the search and rescue exhibition at the National Maritime Museum. Here you can gain an experience as to what its like to help guard the coastlines of our country; celebrating the tireless efforts of the RNLI, Royal Air Force and the HM Coastguard just to name a few. Among the highlights is sure to be the 70ft Sea King helicopters, kindly lent to the exhibition by the MOD.

This is just one of a plethora of events taking place to mark the Falmouth Spring Festival, which will sweep across various venues in the town from the 17 - 25 March. If you happen to be staying in any of the nearby cottages in Cornwall during the period, be sure to come down and take a look.
