Porthleven Food and Wine Festival set for a return

The annual food and wine festival is set to return to Porthleven, bringing a fine array of culinary masterpieces from some of top chefs in the country.

It has been steadily growing throughout the years, building on more than 9,000 visitors in the debut year to now approximately 15,000 coming along to see what all the fuss is about. Organisers say this year's event to be biggest yet, with Patron Antony Worrall Thompson among the professionals on hand to educate and inspire visitors by creating a variety of delicious treats.

Demonstrations have also been included in the plans for the Young Person's Festival Field, offering fun for children while also spotting potential cookery talent to look out for in the future.

After being inspired by the demonstrations, you can then start to browse through more than replicate the magic at home. With more than 30 different stalls on hand, browse through the range of local produce.

The Porthleven Food Festival will be held on the 21st April. If you happen to be staying in any of the luxury cottages Cornwall has to offer during the period, why not come along for what is proving to be one of the most popular events in the county.
