The London Gospel Choir set to perform in Truro

The London Community Gospel Choir are heading to Cornwall this summer, hoping to wow audiences with their scintillating vocal range and extraordinary talent.

The internationally acclaimed group, who are highly sought-after for venues throughout the world, are due to play at the Hall for Cornwall on Wednesday 11 July.

They are expected to play a number of songs designed to help create a sense of empowerment and uplifting cheer, including the likes of ‘Oh Happy Day’, ‘His Eye on the Sparrow’, ‘Amazing Grace’, ‘Hallelujah’ songs from the movie Sister Act and many more.

Founded in 1982 by Reverend Bazil Meade, the initial idea around the group was a single concert staged by a 120-strong choir before an audience of more than a thousand people. The idea has blossomed however, into a 25 year legacy. It could be the perfect event to enjoy whilst staying in one of the luxury cottages in Cornwall this summer.
