Deaf comedian Steve Day to perform in Cornwall this April

Britain’s best known deaf stand-up comedian Steve Day is heading to Cornwall this month, showcasing his unique style of self-aware, self-deprecating and brilliantly observational wit to a Cornish audience.

The popular funny man, who has had several one man shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe including “Deaf in the Afternoon”, “A Night At The Pictures” and “Should I Stay or Should I Go”, will be performing at the Hall for Cornwall on Friday 27 April.

Not a joke on the circuit he has not heard, Steve eloquently and hilariously confronts his plight with deafness, usually reducing his audiences to tears of laughter. He has had success off stage as well, writing and performing on several BBC Radio 4 shows.

It could be the ideal event to enjoy should you be planning on a short spring break in Britain’s most popular holiday destination. Why not take advantage of the fantastic Cornwall cottages available throughout the county, the ideal base for your British Vacation.
