Cornwall Wildlife Trust celebrates 50th anniversary

2012 sees the Cornwall Wildlife Trust celebrate its 50th anniversary and, to mark this very special occasion, a number of gardens in the county will be making themselves open to the public during the spring months and beyond.

The first location that visitors will be able to see is Poldowrian at Coverack near Helston on April 12th. Boasting four acres of wild landscape, this dramatic site also offers stunning views of the sea, numerous picturesque ponds, and even a small museum displaying examples of the prehistoric remains which have been excavated on the grounds.

If you are looking to find a holiday in the UK this year, why not book a stay at one of the luxurious cottages in Cornwall? With this special chance to spend your days exploring some of the county’s beautiful gardens, as well as its rolling countryside and glorious beaches, you are sure to find any getaway to the westernmost tip of Britain will be a truly relaxing one.
