Helicopter expected to light up Cornwall festival

The spectacular landing of a Cornwall Air Ambulance helicopter looks set to bet the major attraction at this summer’s Trereife Summer Festival.

Running from 3 – 5 August, the event will stage the landing as part of a push to raise money to keep the iconic helicopter flying, with interested spectators permitted to meet the pilot and crew, who will be happy to answer any questions.

Away form the main event, there will be a wide range of fine local craft and produce stalls celebrating the best of the county’s food, wine and art.

Set in a beautiful Cornish garden outside of Trereife House, with neat parterres and terraces displaying all the hallmarks of some classical arrangement, it provides the perfect setting for a great day out.

Should you be enjoying a stay in one of the fine luxury cottages in Cornwall this summer, be sure to venture out and experience this and many other brilliant festivals taking place around the county in the coming months.
