Study to understand health benefits of living by the sea in Cornwall

Following a study conducted the European Centre for Environment and Human Health, which suggested the seaside is a favourite environment for most people, scientists from the same company in Cornwall are undertaking an investigation into whether the coastline can really benefit people’s health.

Taking place at Truro’s European Centre for the Environment and Human Health, participants will take part in a study which includes exercise on a static bike or treadmill whilst taking in images or video clips of different environments, before being examined for specific reactions to different images.

The study will be of interest to any of the thousands of holidaymakers who make their way to the county every year to sample some of the county’s stunning beaches and remarkable coastline.

Should you want to see what the fuss is about and take in some fresh, healthy sea air, be sure to book a stay in some luxury accommodation in Cornwall.
