New National Trust Visitor centre opened in Cornwall

The national Trust has opened a new ‘Welcome to West Cornwall Centre’ in Penzance that offers lots of useful information to tourists in the area.

The centre has been built upon the former site of a previous visitor centre which was unfortunately closed in 2011.

The Trust believes this new visitor centre will help promote the area and encourage visitors to come and explore the area more. The Centre will not just look at places owned by the trust, but all that is on offer in the area, which is said to be groundbreaking for the trust.

The Head of Tourism at Visit Cornwall described how the previous centre was closed for budgetary reasons so is extremely pleased to see the Trust reopen it to meet the needs of the visitors to Penzance and Cornwall.

If you are staying in one of our Cornwall cottages and planning to visit Penzance, make sure you pay the visitor centre a visit to discover all that the area has to offer and to find inspiration for your holiday.
