Mousehole festival set for summer return

Excitement is gathering around this year’s Mousehole Sea Salts and Sail Festival, an event famed for reviving old traditions and celebrating the heritage of West Cornwall’s most iconic and famous fishing village.

Taking place in Mousehole, near Penzance, from 6 – 8 July, the festival will play host to a range of quality activities to indulge in, whether it be to embrace the stunning coastline, or to immerse in local culture and tradition.

Some of the events designed to entertain all ages include sea-food cookery demonstrations, tin smelting, historic maritime photo exhibitions and some traditional Cornish music.

There will also be the opportunity to help make crab pots and enjoy heritage walks, in an event which will help tourists gain a full appreciation of this remarkable village.

It could be a great event to enjoy whilst relaxing in some 5 star accommodation in Cornwall, the perfect base for a relaxing British holiday.
