Cornwall well represented in British Travel Awards nominations

The shortlist for this year’s British Travel Awards has been announced, with Cornwall unsurprisingly well represented in the Domestic Holidays and Attractions categories.

No fewer than 9 nominations were attributed to different areas and companies across the region, with Cornwall itself being pitted against the likes of Cumbria and Yorkshire for Best UK Holiday County or Region.

Popular landmarks such as the Eden Project and the Minack Theatre in Penzance will be hopeful of taking home a prize, after being nominated in the Best UK Leisure Attraction and Best UK Heritage Attraction categories respectively.

VisitCornwall will also be looking to take home an accolade when the award take place on 1 November at Battersea Evolution after being nominated in the Best UK Visitor Guide Website category.

Come and see why the county received so many nominations and book a stay in some 5 star accommodation in Cornwall.
