Looe Carnival Week

The annual Looe Carnival Week is taking place from July 29 – 4 August, offering a week of entertainment for the whole family on Cornwall’s south coast.

This is a traditional Cornish carnival which offers a week long programme of celebrations and family orientated events for visitors and locals alike. Every day there will be something new happening in the town. You can watch or join in with the traditional Floral dance through the town centre, enjoy some alfresco Cornish songs by a local choir on the seafront and watch the carnival parade with a myriad of colourful floats, brass bands, majorettes and pipe bands.

Throughout the week there will be some fun and fantastic activities for children, like the under 13 Mini Fun Run beginning from the town’s quayside, the children’s sand modelling competition on East Looe beach and a traditional Punch and Judy shows through the week
