ENJOY ROALD DAHL'S ‘THE TWITS’ AT LANHYDROCK
19 July 2012
If you are venturing down to the South West to stay at one of the beautiful cottages in Cornwall with your family, you might be looking for some entertainment to occupy the kids during the summer holidays. If so, how about a children’s play?
The Lanhydrock country house and estate near Bodmin will soon be playing host to the forthcoming outdoor play ‘The Twits‘, staged by the touring theatre company Illyria. The play has been adapted from the wonderful children’s story by the author Roald Dahl and will be performed in the beautiful gardens at the Lanhydrock estate on August 22, from 6.30 – 8.30pm.
The organisers welcome members of the audience to bring some suitable comfortable low-back seating of their choice and a picnic, if they would like. This show is expected to be in demand, so booking is essential.
The gates open at 6pm and tickets are priced at £8 for a child, £12.50 for an adult or £38 for a family ticket. For more information, contact Lanhydrock House: 01208 265950.
