Cornwall coastal resort gets new brand image


Newquay has become the recipient of a new, brand-conscious image thanks to the work of the town’s Business Improvement District (BID).

The project focused on giving the popular coastal resort its own unique identity whilst boosting the resort’s nationwide profile, with the not-for-profit organisation designing a logo and set of ‘brand tools’.

The new marketing strategy is expected to push a more ‘vibrant, laid-back, friendly and trendy’ vibe onto prospective tourists, with the brand already visible on the London Underground and in the BID’s publicity material.

It represents a boost for a town that has always remained as one of the region’s most popular holiday destinations, with thousands flocking to Newquay and other towns across Cornwall as part of their British vacation.
