TOURISM HOTSPOTS SHORTLISTED FOR 2012 VISITCORNWALL AWARDS
15 October 2012
Businesses and people who work tirelessly to help sustain the glowing tourism scene across Cornwall may have the chance to be rewarded for their efforts after shortlists were created for the 2012 VisitCornwall Awards.
An establishment which will be hoping to see success at the event is the Pandora Inn, a 13th Century pub set beautifully by the river in Mylor. A public house which has long been a popular draw for both locals and visitors staying in any of the beautiful cottages in Cornwall, it has been listed among others for the coveted Best Pub award. It certainly has a special significance for the Pandora as its grounds were ravaged by a fire last year. Having been nearly completely destroyed in the blaze, it has been painstakingly rebuilt, with the nomination clearly marking the return to its former glory.
If you happen to be visiting the region in the future, why not come along and discover why this beautiful and potentially award-winning establishment proves so popular?
