The Du Maurier Festival Re-Invented for 2013

If you're staying in one of the many cottages in Cornwall next spring, you'll be able to visit the re-invented Du Maurier Festival, which is set to become the 'The Fowey Festival of Words and Music'.

The festival has been one of the region's favourites for over 15 years now, but next year sees the start of a new initiative aimed at drawing in more visitors from outside the region. The festival, which takes place in Cornwall's beautiful Fowey, is a centre for literature, music and art, attracting a wide range of top names from all areas of the arts.

The festival's director, Jonathan Aberdeen, commented on the changes, saying that the new branding, attractions and partnership with VisitCornwall should all help boost the event's profile, attracting many more visitors to the region.

If you want to experience the changes for yourself, the 2013 festival is set to take place in May, with finalised dates being released nearer to the time.
