TRURO'S VICTORIA GARDENS SUBJECT TO SIZEABLE DEVELOPMENT
13 December 2012
It has been announced that Truro's Victoria Gardens are set to undergo a sizeable facelift - a move which is hoped could lead to an increase in visitor numbers to the Cornish horticultural attraction.
In plans which could cost as much as £425,000, some of the existing buildings will be replaced with a state of the art centre which will act as a new community building. There are also plans to restore the original gates and seating found in the gardens, some of which have been resident at the attraction since it first opened back in 1897. The bandstand is also set to be transformed - a feature in the gardens which has posed as a fantastic photography opportunity since the greenspace was first created.
With its luscious floral displays and beautiful water features, The Victoria Gardens in Truro offers a fantastic day out for anyone staying in any of the nearby luxury cottages in Cornwall throughout the year.
