Using Cornwall as film destination could provide tourism boost

With its luscious green hills, wide collection of picture-postcard villages and great range of visitor attractions, it comes as little surprise that the county is so often the basis for happy family holidays throughout the year.

It is also a popular location for the shooting of films and television shows, some which many believe could provide a further boost in visitors to the region. One who holds this notion is VisitCornwall head Malcolm Bell, who said that the wide range of productions being filmed in Cornwall could result in more profits for local businesses.

With blockbuster movies such as Die Another Day, Johnny English and Ladies in Lavender all being filmed in Cornwall, it puts the county on a pedestal on an international scale. If you are keen to visit some of the sights of the movies, why not book into one of the beautiful 5 star cottages in Cornwall today?
