A travel writer for The Telegraph has revealed that staying in cottages in Cornwall out of the typical holiday season is his "smug little holiday secret". With plenty to enjoy throughout the year in the pretty county, there is every reason to enjoy a holiday in Cornwall in spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Jon Stock, journalist for The Telegraph, has previously enjoyed many a holiday in Cornwall with his family, his most notable memories involving swimming near Land's End in March, surfing near Newquay in autumn and walking on the Roseland Peninsula in winter.

Cornwall's heritage coastline offers some of the most beautiful vistas in the entire UK, and there are plenty of ways to appreciate it when enjoying a holiday in the county. Whether outdoors or indoors, Cornwall can offer a fantastic holiday experience at any time of year, so why not book accommodation for a stay for this coming spring, autumn or winter?
