All aboard the Maritime Line Rail Ale Trail in Cornwall

If you are looking forward to visiting one of the 5 star cottages in Cornwall, there promises to be a wealth of activities and attractions you can enjoy throughout your stay. One such event is the maritime rail ale trail, promising to be a hugely popular day and a chance to sample some of the finest produce from the region.

Available to experience on the Maritime Line, the rail ale trail presents 13 different pubs which you can visit on the way from Truro to Falmouth such as The Wig and Pen in Truro, The Famous Barrel in Penryn, The Clipper Way in Penmere and the Quayside Inn in Falmouth Town.

There’s no need to book a special ticket or even turn up on a special day, all you have to do is book an open return on the Maritime Line and decide which establishments you would like to stop at. It is, however, advisable to do this in the spring or summer, with the chance that the train may not stop at certain platforms during the off-season.
