Eden Project calls for government funding

The Eden Project, unmistakably one of Cornwall's most famous landmarks, is calling for an injection of funds from the government, money which could help further enhance the experience for those visiting the attraction.

Believed to be in the region of £7m, the funds could help build a new HOW2 skills centre which would be run in collaboration with Cornwall College. It would also help the running of the facility, which has publicly declared it is currently going through a difficult period in terms of revenue. The full proposal is in the finalisation process before the closing date on 20 March.

With a collection of some of the most exotic plants from all over the world, The Eden Project stands as a fantastic day out for the whole family to enjoy. If you are looking forward to a stay in one of the 5 star cottages in Cornwall this summer, be sure to add a visit to your holiday itinerary.
