Nature spotting initiative unveiled on St Ives Bay train line

A nature spotting initiative has been drawn up on one of Cornwall's most popular train stretches in a collaborative effort between the Cornwall Wildlife Trust and the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership.

With over 35,000 leaflets and posters being produced, it is another way to try and increase the levels of passengers who use the train across the county despite lines in the region recording record user figures during 2012.

The posters and leaflets will indicate the best place to see wildlife and plants along the St Ives Bay Line, as well as telling a number of interesting facts about the wildlife which Cornwall is home to, a measure sure to encourage a great appreciation for the natural vistas the county is famous for. It offers a fantastic educational experience for the whole family, especially for those looking forward to a stay in any of the 5 star cottages in Cornwall during the summer months
