A partnership of Cornish museums was recently awarded a joint sum of £250,000 to spend on improving the experience for visitors to the attractions. Five top attractions in Cornwall were awarded funding from Arts Council England after pulling together to gain this valuable resource.
The five museums are the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, Porthcurno Telegraph Museum, the Royal Cornwall Museum, Falmouth Art Gallery and Penlee House Gallery and Museum. Together, they will be dividing up £253,000 to put towards a number of exciting projects, including expanding exhibits, working on making the museums more sustainable, devising educational projects and raising awareness through marketing campaigns.
Those soon to be staying in 5 star cottages in Cornwall will be able to enjoy an improved visitor experience in the near future when visiting these excellent attractions, a great way to spend a number of days out exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.
