WRITER FROM THE MIRROR FEELS INSPIRED BY CORNWALL
4 April 2013
A writer from The Mirror recently enjoyed a holiday in Cornwall and has taken to her column to praise the county for inspiring her to keep on writing. Whether staying in self catering Cornwall cottages or just popping down for a day trip, Kristen Hallenga is just the latest of many to find herself inspired by a visit to beautiful Cornwall.
Kristen Hallenga is the founder of breast cancer charity CoppaFeel! which she set up after being diagnosed with cancer herself. The charity has experienced a number of successes and Kristen is often busy these days organising nationwide charity bike rides and festivals, but she decided that she needed a break and decided to visit her favourite holiday hotspot: Cornwall.
As well as feeling rejuvenated from the fresh Cornish air and the walks along the beach that she enjoyed, she appreciated the atmosphere which was totally different from her busy life in London, and after meeting a fellow cancer sufferer who had read her blog, Kristen felt totally inspired to spend a little more time writing.
