Cornish pasty wins grandmother praise on Food Glorious Food

A great grandmother from Camborne was recently knocked out of ITV's latest cookery competition Food Glorious Food, and although she can sadly progress no further in the contest, she is sure to have inspired viewers who are looking forward to enjoying a holiday in 5 star cottages in Cornwall.

Despite leaving the show, Eunice Woolcock described her time on Food Glorious Food as "absolutely fabulous" and can proudly say that she made it to the semi-finals.

Whilst on the show, Mrs Woolcock demonstrated her skill at creating the traditional Cornish pasty, a delight which judge Tom Parker-Bowles described as one of the best he had ever eaten, leading him to dub her the "high priestess" of Cornish pasty making.

The Cornish pasty has long been a favourite with locals and holidaymakers visiting the region, and thanks to Eunice Woolcock's televised cookery skills, it is sure to inspire many to have a taste of the Cornish delicacy when enjoying an upcoming holiday in the Duchy.
