Birmingham Royal Ballet Returns to Truro

The exciting Birmingham Royal Ballet is set to return to the Hall for Cornwall this May, bringing a brand new programme of dance to Cornwall.

The new production is titled the "Pineapple Poll" and is an entertaining medley of comedy set to the toe-tapping tunes of Gilbert and Sullivan. It follows the tale of Captain Belaye as he arrives in a new town, causing the female population to collectively swoon. Chief among the town's women is Poll, who sets of to lead the town's love-lorn ladies in a series of ploys to get the attention of the admirable officer.

The production should make for an entertaining night out for anyone enjoying luxury cottage holidays in Cornwall and takes place this May 17th – 18th. Tickets start at just £15 for the evening productions and £12 for the matinee performances. More information about the event and ticket booking can be found on the Hall for Cornwall website.
