Brand new ale developed by Cornish surf champion

A brand new ale has been launched in Cornwall, one which has been created by the county's surf champion Ben Skinner.

Called 'Lushingtons', it is named after the popular surf break in Porthtowan and has been described as a lovely summer ale, one which could be the perfect accompaniment to an evening on the beach or even after a spot of surfing – a sport which is synonymous with the county. The ale will be developed using an American hop called Belma, one which has never been used to develop ale in the UK.

Brewed by Skinner's Brewery, Lushingtons will be available during May, June, July and August in pubs across Cornwall and the neighbouring county of Devon. If you are looking forward to heading to the beach during a stay in one of the luxury Cornwall cottages, be sure to grab a taste of this great new ale.
