Truro park-and-ride prices frozen until April 2014

Those who have previously stayed in cottages in Cornwall near Truro and have used the city's park-and-ride service before will know just how useful it is, and it was announced this week that Cornwall Council has frozen the price of tickets.

Prices for the service have been frozen until April 2014, much to the delight of locals and those hoping to visit the county soon for a holiday. Tim Wood, head of transport at Cornwall Council, has said that this is a continued way in which they can provide a "high quality and convenient service".

Truro is a delightful city to discover on foot, and the popular park-and-ride service offers visitors an easy and inexpensive way to visit the city with friends and family. Ticket prices will now stay at £1.80 for a day rover ticket and £3.60 for a family rover ticket (2 adults and up to 4 children aged between 5 and 15 years) until at least April 2014.
