Popular Truro restaurant welcomes new head chef

A popular Truro restaurant welcomed the arrival of a new head chef this month as the owners of Bustophers Bar Bistro announced that they are planning big changes for the future of the eatery.

Bustophers Bar Bistro on Lemon Street has long been regarded as a fine dining restaurant, and new head chef Matt Long is one of the key new changes which will see the establishment move towards producing bistro-inspired food which is good value for money.

Tom Hancock, general manager of Bustophers, has said that he is "delighted" to welcome Matt Long to their kitchen and described him as a chef who has a passion for making food which is high in quality and tastes good. His signature dish at Bustophers is seared mini-duck breast, duck pie, duck fat chips, seasonal vegetables with vanilla roasted plums and duck gravy, which he describes as "classical bistro, but with a twist".

With all of these fresh new changes at Bustophers Bar Bistro, it is sure to be popular with those looking for a tasty bite to eat whilst staying in luxury cottages in Cornwall.
