Cornwall Explorer Bus links Penwith attractions

Three of Penwith's best known attractions were linked by a new First open-top bus service recently, offering visitors to the area a way to combine them into a memorable day out.

Porthcurno Telegraph Museum, Geevor Tin Mine and Penlee House in Penzance formed the new relationship with the travel operator First Devon and Cornwall in order to promote the region and provide a new way to see the area.

The new bus service, called the 300 Cornwall Explorer route, gives visitors the option of purchasing an unlimited travel day ticket which also provides a 10% discount on entry into the three attractions. The service runs throughout the day and those with a ticket can hop on and off as they need.

The new bus makes for an excellent day out for anyone enjoying one of the region's many Cornish cottage holidays and there are hopes that similar services will pop-up elsewhere in the county.
