THE EDEN PROJECT OPENS THE NEW RAINFOREST AERIAL WALKWAY
11 July 2013
The Eden Project's brand new Rainforest Aerial Walkway opened to the public on 8 July, ready for all the people who will soon be heading off on a summer holiday in Cornwall.
The new Rainforest Aerial Walkway allows visitors to enjoy spectacular views of the rainforest canopy from above, and along the walkway there are a number of areas to discover. Visitors can find out how the Baka people live in the West African rainforest, learn about plants and how they have developed to cope with the tropical climate and discover how rainforests affect our everyday lives in the IKOS pod.
The opening of the Rainforest Aerial Walkway has been highly anticipated and many are sure to discover this brand new attraction on a visit to the Eden Project this summer. This is also the first summer that the Eden Project is open to well-behaved dogs following a successful open day in May, so those enjoying a Cornwall holiday with the dog can now bring all the family for a day out at the Eden Project!
