Lost Gardens of Heligan create their signature ice cream flavour

Those who will soon be staying in self catering Cornwall cottages will be able to find more than a great day out at the Lost Gardens of Heligan this summer; the attraction has created its very own ice cream flavour.

As reported recently in an article in The Cornish Guardian, the Lost Gardens of Heligan have teamed up with Callestick Farm to develop an exclusive new ice cream flavour. The flavour has been designed to reflect summertime in the gardens, and the staff chose to develop a frozen yoghurt treat that is sprinkled with walnuts and has honey running through it.

The flavours are based on the walnut tree that can be found in the Steward's House Garden and the bees that are so vital to the continuation of the attraction. Jah Hemming, catering manager at the Lost Gardens on Heligan, has said that they are "thrilled" with this new frozen treat and hopes that it will provide some cooling refreshment for visitors this summer.
