CORNWALL BECOMES FIRST BRITAINíS FIRST RURAL SOCIAL ENTERPRISE ZONE
12 December 2013
There’s great news for all concerned with Cornwall. Whether you’re a local resident or you have an affiliation through your love or want of coming and staying in luxury cottages in Cornwall, this is a very proud moment for one and all. It was officially announced this week that Cornwall will become the rural home for businesses in order to benefit the whole community.
Tuesday saw Britain's first ever rural Social Enterprise Zone being launched in the county at the very unique Eden Project.
The Minister for Civil Society, Nick Hurd, took the time to come and visit some of the young apprentices at Fifteen Cornwall, a social enterprise which gives young people from challenging backgrounds the opportunity to obtain vital qualifications to move forward in life.
