Surfing Exhibition continues over Christmas
As the luxury holiday cottages in Cornwall and surroundings areas begin to fill with seasonal visitors for the Christmas period and the festivities that are sure to ensue, many people will be on the lookout for fun and interesting events to visit as a family, in the local region. The Royal Cornwall Museum has just the thing.

Take a trip to Truro and ‘drop in’ on The Royal Cornwall Museum and experience The Endless Summer Surf Evolution Exhibition. The Exhibition is a fantastic opportunity to explore why we’ve surfing has become the adored sport it is today. Packed full of insightful displays of the very best surfing memorabilia you can lay your eyes on.

Films, Interactive exhibits, photography, boards from private collectors, profiles of surfers, as well as paintings by the artist Kurt Jackson.

Museum Director, Hilary Bracegirdle said: “It is important for the Museum to represent Cornish culture in all its different forms – and let’s face it, surfing is one of our star attractions and an important feature of Cornish culture. I am sure local people and visitors to Cornwall will enjoy finding out more about something which plays such a big part in the everyday lives of so many in our region.”
