Charity skydive volunteers wanted in Cornwall

Ever fancied seeing a view of the wonderful Cornish landscape in a unique and spectacular way while on your Cornish cottage holidays ? There are three weekend dates that are on offer that could make this happen for you, not forgetting that you’ll be making a difference to an important local charity at the same time.

The Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), a children's charity, is asking for volunteers to take on an exciting and exhilarating challenge in order to raise money for children with life limiting illness.

The CHSW has arranged three tandem skydiving weekends where the lucky and brave volunteers get to free-fall from an impressive 10,000ft.

The skydives will be running from Perranporth Airfield by Cornwall Parachute Company and will be taking place on February 22 and 23, June 14 and 15 as well as September 6 and 7.

The fundraising team at Little Harbour, has asked anybody interested to face their fears so that they can raise money for the charity’s hospice based in St Austell.

To take part, volunteers have to be over 16 years of age and raise £345 through sponsorship and fundraising which covers the costs of the skydive and a donation of £180 to CHSW.

There is a £50 booking fee when you register.

To find out more about the skydive email reception.lh@chsw.org.uk or call Little Harbour on 01726 871800 to receive an information pack.
