Hotter than Greece- Cornwall set for glorious weekend ahead!

Pack your bags and make your way to the luxury cottages in Cornwall! This weekend is set to see the return of some sunny weather. Weather reports are claiming that people in Cornwall can look forward to basking in the spring sunshine with predictions that this weekend will be hotter than the popular holiday destinations of Ibiza and the Greek Islands with temperatures rising to a pleasing 16C.

Much of southern regions of England can expect to enjoy some greatly appreciated temperatures of up to 18C on Saturday and Sunday, following some rather unsavoury weather recently.

Forecasts are citing Sunday as being the warmest day of the year so far, and not a moment too soon for lovers of all things sunshine related.

This news comes as something to look forward to for visitors and locals alike and could provide the “shot in the arm” the tourist industry needs, according to Westcountry tourism leaders.

Experts have welcomed the return of warm weather - after months of stormy conditions saying it could be “perfectly timed” as Britain starts to think about holidays again with the first full week of spring almost complete.

Temperatures are anticipated to reach 15C or 16C this weekend, that’s around fifty per cent above the seasonal average, with hours of sunshine expected across the region.
