DOGGY SELFIES- HAVE YOU TAKEN PART?
27 March 2014
With the recent ‘no makeup selfies’ taking over newsfeeds across Facebook as people pledge £3 for cancer research following the upload of their own photograph, K9 Focus decided to use this novel idea and get involved with the craze.
The charity are asking dog owners to put their doggy selfies on the K9 Focus Facebook page and donate £3 to the charity, a completely volunteer-run organisation that ensures rescue dogs are rehomed in new homes that will give rescue dogs the attention, love, and care that they deserve.
Since the scheme began last Sunday there have been over 50 pictures being received. K9 Focus have reported that they haven’t just had four-legged friends from the South West posting their selfies- there have been pictures from across the UK, and even as far afield as Scotland and France too!
Anyone who wants to join in with the ‘dognominate’ fun is being asked to keep the trend going by getting other dog loving friends and family involved.
If you would like to post a picture you can post on the K9 Focus Facebook page and people can donate by texting 70070 with the message PUDS14 not forgetting the amount they would like to donate. Alternatively there is a link at http://www.k9focus.co.uk/
