ROUGHCUT FILM NIGHT RETURNS TO FALMOUTH
15 May 2014
A popular film night is set to return to Falmouth tonight.
Regular film night Roughcut is due to take place at Dogbite Film Studio tonight, with films shot in Cornwall and further afield due to be screened.
The regular night, run as a collaboration by o-region and Dogbite Film crew, is an open submission event, making it the film equivalent of an open-mic night.
With an eclectic mix of the best short local, national and international short films on display plenty of people staying at our cottages in Cornwall have visited in the past, and more are likely to tonight.
Tonight’s screening is set to see several films shown, including a magic trick music video, filmed in a single take, a coming of age drama set in Edinburgh, a film about a voodoo moustache, a home-grown tale of romance and ice cream and a two-part romantic drama that took south Devon by storm.
But there are also set to be other surprises on the line-up tonight – to find out wht they are you’ll have to head along.
The screening takes place from 8pm tonight, at 5 to 8 Tidemill House, Discovery Quay, Falmouth. Tickets cost £4 and are available at www.crbo.co.uk or on the door.
