CORNISH AND NEPALESE CIRCUS PERFORMS AT GLASTONBURY

27 June 2014

Cornish and Nepalese circus performs at Glastonbury

Glastonbury may be in Somerset but a little corner of a field at Worthy Farm will be Cornish, thanks to a Cornish theatre group.

Circus Kathmandu, which is run by Cornish woman Sky Neal, will be performing at the festival this weekend.

The circus group is Nepal's first and only contemporary circus and all of its 11 troupe members are Nepalese – but it’s Sky who is in charge.

The circus was formed four years ago and now will perform at the legendary Glastonbury Festival for the first time.

The group promise to put on a remarkable and stunning performance but if you don’t have tickets for the festival and don’t fancy slumming it in a tent for four days to see them, then why not come and stay in our 5 star holiday cottages Cornwall and catch Kathmandu when they perform closer to home?
