Atlantic Coast Express steam train sets off to Cornwall
Three locomotives are making their journey from London to Penzance to mark the 50th anniversary of the last Atlantic Coast Express. One train will stop at Exeter whilst the other two will carry on their journey to Penzance.

The last time an Atlantic Coast Express was in Cornwall was the 5th September 1964 and, on Sunday, guests staying at our luxury Cornwall cottages with a pool from the 5th- 8th September will be amongst the lucky ones who will be able to catch a glimpse of these remarkable steam trains.

One locomotive will even be visible from the windows of The Valley's luxury cottages as it travels along the local Maritime line to Falmouth.
