Don’t miss the biggest food event in Cornwall’s calendar!

The Great Cornish Food Festival is going to be a 3-day spectacular of all things Cornish food related and the whole family are sure to enjoy the event when it arrives in Truro from Friday 23 September to Sunday 25 September.
More than 100 different chefs and food experts will be gathering at the festival, which is dedicated to celebrating Cornish food and drink. The free event is committed to supporting locally sourced Cornish food and drink and is a great chance for visitors to sample the best of the best.
The Festival is also putting on a Discover Zone for the younger ones to find out about where food comes from, how it’s made and what makes Cornish food so good. A number of free events will be keeping the kids busy and they can learn about lobsters, try fishing games, get crafty, learn about the role of farmers and try their hand at plaiting bread.
In addition to being able to sample the amazing food on offer at the festival, you can pick up a bag and shop the range of produce of available till your arms drop. With bakeries, butchers, confectionaries, seafood, delicatessens, breweries and more, you will be taking home something from every stall!
It is not just the stalls laden with food that will get you inspired, as over the three days there will be loads of demonstrations to watch. Two internationally acclaimed chefs, Tom Adams and April Bloomfield are headlining having just set down roots in Cornwall. All throughout the day on each day you can discover hints on cooking the best seafood see a masterclass in cheese-making and even a Cornish-themed bake off.
