At the Valley, we pride ourselves on our sensational swimming facilities, including a heated indoor and outdoor swimming pool, plus a spa pool. These facilities are FREE for our cottage guests to use. Our indoor heated swimming pool is now bookable for exclusive, private use through our new online booking system!
The heated indoor pool and jacuzzi are open most of the year, while the outside pool is available until September/ October. The indoor pool will be closed for 2 weeks in late November, as well as the last 3 weeks in January 2025.
There are two swimming pools at The Valley, so whatever the weather, you can take a relaxing swim to start or end your day.
The outdoor pool is heated from mid/end of June to mid-September, allowing you to enjoy a dip during the summer holidays.
When the sun is shining, relax on the loungers around the outside pool and experience the tranquillity of The Valley.
The outdoor pool is situated by our on site restaurant, so after your swim, refuel with a delicious homemade meal or refreshing drink.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 9 am and 9 pm.
The indoor swimming pool is open most of the year* and is booked by families or individuals staying at The Valley for exclusive use, so you can enjoy private time at the pool.

You can book the Indoor Pool/Spa pool for 30-minute slots the day before you want to use it, meaning you get it all to yourself!
Please email all booking requests to info@valleycottages.net the morning prior to the day you want to book, if you would prefer not to use our new booking app which will be sent to you on a holiday booking email.
We will then confirm what time you’ve got later the same day. Ideally, if you could please let us know 3 preferences, we will endeavour to give you your first preference every time; however, if everyone goes for the same slot, it will be first come, first served, and your 2nd or 3rd preference will be allocated.
The booking slots for the indoor pool are every 30 minutes starting from 9am to 9pm, and the time slots last 25 minutes, allowing guests 5 minutes to leave without bumping into the new guests coming in.
