Food guide listing best restaurants in the South West launches latest version

A food guide focusing on the best restaurants in the South West and labelled the ‘Holy Grail for foodies across the country has launched its latest version.

The Trencherman’s Guide has been detailing the best places in popular holiday destinations such as Cornwall for 20 years, providing the participating eateries meet a strict and through criteria set by a panel of leading food and drink experts.

Popular Cornish culinary haunts such as Harris’s Restaurant and Victoria Inn in Penzance and The Gurnard’s Head in Zennor, St Ives are just some of the establishments featured on The Trencherman’s Guide.

The Trencherman is aptly defined as a hearty eater and comes from the name for the wooden plates that people once ate from. There will be no eating from wooden plates should you fancy enjoying some of the gorgeous Cornish cuisine whilst staying in some 5 star accommodation in Cornwall for your British vacation this year, but there will be plenty of hearty eating.
