For anyone who isn’t familiar with what’s on offer when they book a stay here with us at The Valley, we thought we would give you an insight into some of the superb facilities that come as standard when you choose to stay here with us in the picturesque setting of our Carnon Downs, gated community.
Relax and unwind with our swimming pool
When you stay with us here at The Valley you get to enjoy not one, but two swimming pools! Centrally located in our grounds are our indoor heated and outdoor pools.
With our swimming facilities you don’t need to worry about overcrowding and people walking in from outside as there’s no public access, so the pools are kept strictly exclusive for our guests. The beauty of having an indoor pool also means that you can take a dip whatever the weather or time of year too. Nothing quite beats a relaxing swim to start or end your day, and where better to experience that than here with us?
When the sun is shining, relax on the loungers around the outside pool and experience the tranquillity of The Valley.
Our indoor swimming pool is heated all year round, so if you visit during the winter months then there’s no chance of a shock when you dip you toe in, leaving you with complete assurance that you can slip into water that will provide instant relaxation. Our outdoor pool is heated from mid-June to mid-September if you are staying with us during the warmer months.
Our swimming pools are available to use between 9am and 9pm, daily.
Indulge in our fitness room and spa pool
Even if you’re on holiday you might still want to get the blood flowing and feel fresh before a day of doing whatever you feel like doing. whether that be a walk around our grounds, shopping in nearby Truro city centre, or winding down with a good book in your cottage. If the idea of enjoying the spa facilities ticks the boxes for you then you can jump on the cross trainer, make use of the exercise bike, the treadmill, or even all three.
The Spa pool at The Valley adjoins the indoor swimming pool and offers the opportunity for a little rejuvenation after a workout.
Racquet sport lovers will be in their element when they take to our exclusive courts
Tennis and squash courts form part of the facilities at The Valley and are available, just like the other facilities in our gated community, exclusively for the use of The Valley’s guests. Equipment to play is also provided, should you want to borrow any. For guests looking to add a little something to their game, a professional tennis coach is on call upon appointment.
