Cornwall is a treasure trove of foodie discoveries. While we’re famous for traditional foods like pasties and our wonderful organic ingredients, there’s also an incredible amount of fresh culinary ideas to discover during your stay at our Truro holiday cottages.
Some of the best discoveries can be found in Cornwall’s unassuming food vans. These can turn up in the most random of spots but often turn out to be some of the very best eateries our county has to offer. Check out some of our favourite Cornish food vans you could bump into during your visit.

No trip to Cornwall would be complete without pasties, right?
Oggy Oggy is a recognisable name throughout Cornwall and Devon, a bakery business that puts pasties front and centre. They have many bakeries throughout the region, including this beautiful pop-up truck, which is actually a converted horse box!
The horse box might look unassuming, but it’s home to a wonderful lunch menu with simple but popular food, including bacon sandwiches with plenty of bacon and, of course, their much-loved pasties.
Located in a retail park along one of Cornwall’s main roads, this is a spot loved by locals and perfect for a pit-stop during your travels around the county.
