Get ready for the madness at the Halloween Masked Ball

September 22nd, 2016

Halloween is just over a month away, and the Halloween Masked Ball is opening its gates for a magical night of macabre. When on your Cornwall holidays why not grab tickets to this spectacular event and enjoy an evening of fun you won’t forget!

This year is the sixth year of October’s instalment of the Masked Ball, which this year takes inspiration from New York’s famous pleasure beach and boardwalk Coney Island, freaks and geeks and human marvels. The event in Cornwall claims to be Europe’s largest masked ball event and a Halloween extravaganza.

Being held at Flambards in Helston, not far from our luxury cottages, the Masked Ball will be a rollercoaster of thrills, and offer a dizzying array of attractions – including the fantastic costumes the guests will be wearing.

New this year is the Coney Island Stage, where electronica band Hot Chip will be playing the soundtrack to some of the live shows, along with a number of other DJs. It won’t just be musical thrills, as organisers have promised a totally immersive experience with live theatre shows, interactive venues, laser shows and special effects and more.

Some of the venues to be discovered at the event include Durty Disco’s Warriors Stage, The Asylum, Grand Ballroom and Disco Diner.

Director Kelvin Batt said: “It’s a fantastic venue for our Halloween show and we are using every nook and cranny to give everyone a totally immersive experience. It’s a real privilege to be able to put something like this on.”

The Ball takes place on Saturday October 29 at Flambards Theme Park. Entry is strictly for over 18s. For more information, head to the website.
