5 Things to do in Cornwall this weekend

Summer maybe over but there is still plenty going on in Cornwall! Here are 5 fantastic things to do in Cornwall from Friday 18th September until Sunday 20th September.

1. The Phantom of the Opera (Friday £10/£12)

One of the leading bands accompanying silent productions in Europe, Minima Music will be playing live to Gothic silent 1925 masterpiece at The Poly, Falmouth starting at 7.30pm. The best part is this is only 15 minutes away from our Luxury Cottages.

2. Festival of Food (All weekend)

Food demonstrations and tasting will be taking place at the Eden Project for the Festival of Food and there is some great chefs to watch out for, including Aldo Zilli!

3. Looe Music festival (Friday – Sunday, tickets from £38)

Reputable headliners take centre stage for this weekend of great live music and plenty of fun. Watch the streets and beach transform itself into a fantastic setting for three days of wonderful entertainment.

4. Gyllyngdune Tea festival (Sunday)

Located only 15 minutes away from our Luxury Cottages in the princess pavilion gardens. Tea tasting, tea dances, tales and crafts lead the way in what is always an entertaining day. All accompanied by music and entertainment it runs from 11am until 5pm.

5. St Ives September Festival (All Weekend, Prices vary)

One of the most beautiful towns in Cornwall transforms itself to pay tribute to the arts throughout Cornwall. It celebrates great music, films, theatre and comedy in a ‘proper’ Cornish way.
